Previous Experience
James graduated from university in 2011 having studied Broadcasting. After realising he didn’t want to be the next Chris Moyles he decided to try his hand at something a little different. He began his career within the Financial Services industry at a pensions company but soon moved to St James’s Place. Starting as an administrator he was quickly promoted to paraplanner and began studying, achieving his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning within 10 months and recently achieved Chartered status. Following St James’s Place, James worked in the city for Close Brother Asset Management before joining Lyndhurst in 2016.
Outside of work, James welcomed his second child, Arthur, into the world in July 2022. Theo & Arthur keep James busy but they do give James a chance to enjoy Steam Rallies at which he hopes to one day exhibit an engine of his own.
