Current Role
Alex is passionate about helping clients make confident, informed decisions about their financial future. He values building strong, long-term relationships and takes pride in supporting advisers to deliver advice that truly reflects each client’s goals.
Alex joined Lyndhurst in 2025 as a Paraplanner and works closely with Scott Draycon in Harpenden and Jo Haigh in Hitchin. He brings a wealth of experience across financial services, with strong knowledge in investment management, cash flow planning, mortgages, trusts, pensions, wills and LPAs.
Alex is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI) and is Level 4 qualified, holding the CISI Investment Advice Diploma since 2015. More recently, he has specialised in paraplanning. He also holds the Certificate of Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) and was previously a member of the Society of Will Writers.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with his young family. When he finds a rare moment of free time, you’ll often find him on the golf course, following motorsport, or playing chess.
Previous Experience
After graduating from Bristol University with a degree in Economics in 2014, Alex began his career in Private Banking on the graduate programme at Coutts & Co. He quickly progressed to Private Banker, advising European high-net-worth clients primarily on residential property financing.
He later joined J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank, structuring complex super-prime property transactions for ultra-high-net-worth clients. A brief period at a sustainability not-for-profit followed, where Alex designed an investment mandate for family offices and charities focused on combating deforestation.
Returning to financial advice, Alex joined a small IFA firm in central London, where he broadened his expertise to include will-writing alongside his advisory work.
